Listen to everything they have to say…

Every word of discouragement, every intentionally cruel critique, every self reflecting reason you won’t be successful.

Listen to why they don’t like your product, your approach, your style, your writing.

Listen to it all, because it’s all true.

It’s always true that failure is an option, that we’re not doing our best, and that people dislike what we’re doing.

So to my haters I say, “thank you”.

Thank you for fueling my desire to succeed, thank you for forcing me to be better, thank you for reminding me I’m doing something important enough to take notice.
